Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. She is also the older sister of former UFC Flyweight champ as well as the fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sporting career by becoming an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and beat Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an the unanimous vote. Antonina kept her winning streak going by taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, a Gold medal in the year 2011, along with the title of year-end 2016 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional journey in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were held in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko began her professional MMA career in 2002, with the victory over Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won the fight via second-round TKO and won her next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled an overall record of 3-1. Shevchenko stopped fighting to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. After leaving the league in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC contract following this win. Antonina took part in her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke. It was the top fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko lost 1-2 in her next 3-fights she lost to Ariane Lipski, and then falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
